Go to work, go back to bed..
Do some work, bludge a little..
Go out with friends, stay in with a movie
Call parents, call boyfriend
See boyfriend, See other friends
Sound a little familiar? If not, mb its just me.
Its always a case of do this or do that....
I have noticed that one part of my life seems to rotate its place in the "priorities" hierachy. You can figure out which one that is.
Number one priority for most people is Family (although some may not think so)
Second is usually career and Third either friends or partner/relationships
Then its social life, sleep, so on and so forth
So have figured out which one rotates the most?
In my life i have had to choose whether i could put a relationship before my career. And im sure most of you guys are saying, DUH! i know which one i would choose. But its actually a bit harder than that.
For those who dont know i come from Perth - land of fresh air and 2 highrise buildings. and for those who really dont know, i am an optometrist.
Now, any optom knows that going to perth to work is the wisest choice as you can earn up to 10K more than the peanuts paid in Sydney. So, why am i not there?
I suppose i have put my social life infront of money -not necessarily my career as im still working. But is an extra 10K going to make my life happier?
Regardless, everything is about priorities. What to do first, what to do last, what never to do. Do we REALLY REALLY know our priorities? When do we need to rearrange our lives around others or situations.
It sucks being a grown-up sometimes.

ps, this is yesterdays blog. blogspot server was down! argh
I don't think $10k (or $5k after tax) would make a material difference to you, but then, it is cheaper to live in Perth. Either way, you should base your choice on lifestyle.
