time flies when you're having fun

2007 seems to hold so much promise and a little bit of sadness.

The year has flown all the way to March and as I sit here blinking, i feel that time is moving at 10 times the normal speed. Its Monday, my usual day off and im already, by habit, planning my weekend :). What am i doing this weekend that I will look forward to and will help the week fly by. And then, as my week begins, I blink and its Thursday. Woohooo. Friday night drinks have become the smooth relief to the week. A Frangelico, lime and soda, or a Malibu Pineapple. The first drink goes down like water to a thirsty plant. The rest are just to make the Privo crowd look nice :P

Time flies when you're having fun.

Sounds rather appropriate for the way my life is floating at the moment. It seems ive been smiling a lot lately but at the same time im a little sad about an eminent truth - im losing my best friend to the cold dark London. Ah yes, we are losing yet another to the Europe dream. Frankly im not itching to go over there at all, but i will hopefully take my Euro-trip in September to visit all the deserters, all going well with work and study.

Study? ARGHHH I can't believe im going to study again for a year... BY CHOICE! What the???
The world of optometry is so small and the little passion i have for it is pushing me to study further to better myself. Call it sadism, to throw myself back into nerd-mode, to have to sit quietly in front of a thick text book and choose to study. Someone shoot me! But knowing that others are also suffering with me in their MBAs, does help somewhat. Misery loves company huh.

Meanwhile, its nice to have my computer back so i can go-ogle my life..... Welcome back pooter, its nice to hear the sweet purring sound in my room.... (sorry for threatening to throw you out the window.....)

What do I hate? ABIT motherboards!

Ah yes, my dumb motherboard has gone MIA for the last 6 weeks and thus I have had no internet, no music, no msn, no computer!!!! Surprisingly, I have managed to live without my msn and my hotmail (thank god for my mobile phone) but I have truly missed my 4 Gigs of music. I also miss my favourite website – www.bom.gov.au . Sigh…..

In the meantime I have lived off the 20 odd songs from my mobile phone and I am pretty sick of listening to Snow Patrol (as good as they are). I want some Mendes, Sinatra, Koffee Brown, Fugees, oh hell 50 cent!! Give me some rnb, chinese pop, jazz, swing, classics…. Anything but Chasing Cars……
